Vicki Wallace – Program Director
Vicki is the owner of Premier Tumbling & Dance. She has been involved in the dance, tumbling, and cheer industry since 1991. She has coached tumbling, dance, and cheer teams on the regional and national levels. She has managed recreational and competitive programs for various gyms and studios.
Additionally, she has created and directed the tumbling / gymnastic / cheer program for the city of Mason.
Vicki has 2 daughters who have grown up in the dance and cheer world.
Vicki is USAG safety certified and has outstanding credentials in Childhood Developmental Education and Movement. She attends teacher / owner workshops and conventions around the country in order to continue expanding the success of Premier Tumbling & Dance.
Angie Wallace – Competition Director
Angie is one of the top choreographers and teachers at Premier Tumbling & Dance. She has a passion for all types of dance. It is evident in her enthusiasm, excitement and encouragement of her students.
Currently she is a member of the University of Cincinnati’s Dance Team, which holds 4 National Champion Titles, 3 gold medals / 3 World Champion Titles, which makes it one of the nation’s premier dance teams.
Angie has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She has been trained in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop, and acro. She has traveled to many dance workshops throughout the country. During these trips, she’s had the opportunity of learning from some of the top dance choreographers in the world.
Jen Finch – Dance Director
Jen has been involved with Premier Tumbling & Dance since 2004. She is trained in many forms of dance including ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop, and acro. She continues to enhance her skills in dance and tumbling by traveling to and participating in dance programs taught by today’s top choreographers.
Jen began dancing at age 3 and began competitive gymnastics at age 7. She continued to dance both through high school and college. In college, she participated in many fitness and dance programs throughout the Dayton area.
She focuses on learning new techniques and exciting approaches to teaching which continue to make her classes extra fun!
Karla Crouch– Tumbling Director
Karla joined Premier Tumbling & Dance in 2010 after moving back to the area from Phoenix, AZ.
During her time in Arizona, Karla was a tumbling and cheer instructor at Desert Tumbling. She also directed many after-school programs in that area.
She has been a head instructor for NCA (National Cheer Association) since 1992 and a Competition Coordinator since 2006.
Her background includes a love for fitness. She is a fitness instructor and teaches aerobics and boot camps for all ages. Karla is certified as a back office medical assistant. She brings many talents, skills, and ideas to Premier Tumbling & Dance.
Cory Tomasetti – Fitness Director
Cory attended Miami University of Ohio and majored in Exercise Science and Physiology in pursuit of a degree in Corporate Fitness. As a student, she taught cardio-aerobic classes for the staff and students. After college, she began teaching fitness classes and worked as a personal trainer at Bally’s and Paramount Fitness in Cincinnati.
Cory is a former Cincinnati Bengal cheerleader. She is currently teaching cardio-fitness and weight training classes at Premier Tumbling & Dance.
Shannon Wallace – Recital Director
Shannon has been dancing, tumbling, and cheering since age 3. Since 2005, she has been coaching tumbling, dance, and competition teams. She has danced many styles of dance throughout high school and college years at both regional and national levels.
She continues to improve her knowledge of the most current choreography trends by attending workshops across the country.
She uses the opportunity to coach the students of Premier Tumbling & Dance using the newest and most popular dance styles and routines.
Laurie Cawood
Laurie joined Premier Tumbling & Dance in 2005. She directed the tumbling and gymnastics program at the Mason Community Center before joining the Premier family. She is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She has been working with children since 1985 in various and youth programs.
Laurie’s background in education is a great asset to Premier - Our youth programs continue to flourish as a result.
Michelle Benner
Michelle was a gymnast beginning at age 5 through high school. In addition to her gymnastic background, she was a cheerleader during her youth and continued to cheer through high school.
Her specialties include combination dance and tumbling classes.
Michelle’s awesome approach to teaching strengthens our programs.
